Dermatologists are specialists in all aspects of Skin, Hair and Nails. Their extensive education involves initial medical training followed by specialised training that is accredited by the only professional skin specialist college, The Australasian College of Dermatologists.

A valid referral is required to obtain a Medicare rebate for your consultation or any procedures. Additionally it facilitates effective communication between your primary healthcare provider and the specialist. You can make an appointment to see your specialist without a referral, however you will not be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

A referral from a General Practitioner is valid for a duration of 12 months, while a referral from a specialist is valid for 3 months. This practice does not accept indefinite referrals.

We understand that from time to time it is necessary to cancel an appointment. SMS reminders are sent prior to your appointment. Kindly reply “Y” or “N” in response to the reminder. Please be aware that late cancellations or failing to attend your appointment will result in a fee. We appreciate your cooperation and ask that if you can no longer attend your appointment, you provide at least 24 hours notice.
